Queens
What is Queens?
Queens is a logic puzzle played on a colorful board. Your task is to place exactly one queen in every row, every column and every colored region, but no two queens may touch, not even diagonally. Tap a cell once to mark it with an ✕, twice to place a queen. A new puzzle arrives every day at 9:00 CET: smaller early in the week, bigger on the weekend, up to a 10×10 board on Sunday.
If you enjoy LinkedIn's daily Queens game, here you can play the same kind of puzzle for free. Solving it takes patient elimination, not luck: start with the smallest colored regions and mark with an ✕ every cell where a queen certainly cannot go. If one daily puzzle is not enough, free play gives you as many new boards as you like, from 6×6 to 10×10, and in a duel you can race your friends.
FAQ
How should I start?
Look for the smallest colored regions: if a region lies entirely within one row or column, you can cross out the other cells of that row or column. The eight cells around every queen are ruled out too.
When is there a new Queens puzzle?
Every day at 9:00 CET (Budapest time), and you have until 9:00 the next day to solve it. You can practice in free play at any time.
Can I get help if I am stuck?
Free play has a Hint button that shows you a next step. The daily puzzle, however, you have to solve on your own.
