Mini Sudoku
What is Mini Sudoku?
Mini Sudoku is a smaller, faster version of classic sudoku on a 6×6 grid. Write a number from 1 to 6 in every empty cell so that all six numbers appear exactly once in every row, every column and every 3×2 block. In notes mode you can pencil several small numbers into a cell to keep track of what is still possible.
If a 9×9 sudoku is too long for a short break, this one is for you: a puzzle takes just a few minutes, yet it still gives your brain a proper workout. Players who know LinkedIn's Mini Sudoku will feel right at home. The daily puzzle is easy on Monday and Tuesday, medium on Wednesday and Thursday, and hard from Friday to Sunday, and in free play you can ask for a new one at any time.
FAQ
How is it different from regular sudoku?
The grid is only 6×6, with the numbers 1–6, and the blocks are 3×2 rectangles. The rules are the same, you just finish sooner.
How do I keep going when I am stuck?
Pick a number, say 1, and go through the blocks one by one to see where it can go: often only one cell is left. Use notes mode to write down the candidates and erase the ones that are ruled out.
When is the next daily sudoku?
Every day at 9:00 CET. Until then you can practice as much as you like in free play.
